Cassandra Metz Photography emanates from my passion for travel and photography and my desire to engage with the world. Over the course of my travels, I have documented the idyllic and sometimes rugged beauty of national parks and the grandeur, diversity and complexity of the United States, as well as the world at large.  As I explore these places, I am not only interested in capturing the iconic sites, but also the disruptions or smaller moments, such as a decaying structure in an abandoned landscape, the way that light cascades off a subject to add complexity or the way that people and symbols can provide context. No matter the destination, I am always guided by my desire to bring my unique perspective to all that I see and experience.
